Through his experience of selling Securities, Commodities, and other Financial Services with ‘The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ‘, Mr. Bako selects opportunities for the SSGi portfolio and manages strategic relationships, including co-investment opportunities, with leading portfolio fund managers in America and West African; Ghana & Nigeria. In accordance with SSGi’s investing strategy, He sources and evaluates deals for the group, leading the company’s contribution to the growth of our portfolio companies. Mr. Bako also holds California Real Estate, and Notary Licenses. At 29, He is a leader in international trade, distribution, and digital marketing.


Jon is a highly experienced project manager; coming from the world of Silicon Valley’s Technology, Game & App development; He is experienced in leading teams across multiple platforms. with an incredibly proactive and solution focused approach. He builds all team schedules and roadmaps, providing a clear direction for all team members. Having already demonstrated the ability to hire high quality talent and building cross functional teams capable of tackling diverse and complicated problems, Jon leads all operations at Sub Saharan Group.


Dr. Umaru is a world-renowned agricultural and veterinary expert. In addition to that, an experienced investor in Agricultural businesses. In partnership with Mr. Bako, and through the SSGi conglomerate, Dr. Umaru manages the on-ground due diligence and product authenticity for West African operations. Dr. Umaru also leads strategic partnerships with top State & Local government leaders, leveraging his grass-roots experience as an African business expert for our portfolio companies, and business strategies.


June is a Doctor of Law (JD), California licensed attorney, and professor of Business Sciences & Law at Irvine Valley College, California. For over 20 years Mclaughlin has served as Securities Arbitrator for Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and London; dedicated to investor protection and market integrity. Mclaughlin is experienced in dealing with the African Stock Exchange Association, possessing vast knowledge of Emerging African Capital Markets, and Global Financial Standard Setting.
